Web Assistant This position assists in maintaining the Diether H. Haenicke Institute for Global Education websites. Some troubleshooting of hardware may also be required.
Job Functions - Website maintenance and design using the Joomla! content management system and Dreamweaver software
- Investigates, implements, tests, debugs computers and software as necessary
- Prepares on-line and/or hard copy documentation of system and user applications, with supervision
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take direction as necessary
- Ability to work in an international, diverse environment
Desired Experience - Website Design (HTML & JavaScript)
- SQL and Database Design
- PHP and/or other server-side languages
- PC and printer support
- Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Joomla content management system
- MS Access Design and Implementation
