Parade of Nations Homecoming highlight WMU international student ambassadors waved their nations' flags high in the 2006 Homecoming Parade of Nations Oct. 14 hosted by the International Programs Council and the Haenicke Institute for Global Education. The colorful parade was a halftime event at WMU's 16-14 football victory over Northern Illinois University.
Western Michigan University currently enrolls nearly 1,000 international students from 84 countries. This broad international representation enhances WMU's diversity and presents wonderful opportunities for students and the community-at-large to meet people from other nations and cultures.
