Dr. Bhakta Bahadur Ale, working as a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University in Nepal, received Doctorial degrees in mechanical engineering from The University of Calgary, Canada and  the Engineering degree from Kharkov Automobile Highway Institute in Kharkov, Ukraine (Then former USSR).  He joined Thapathali Campus, Institute of Engineering in 1978 as a lecturer and was transferred to Pulchowk Campus in 1998. Currently, he is the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Pulchowk Campus. The Department offers Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, and Master of Science in renewable energy. He is also actively involved in teaching, conducting training and carrying out research and consulting works. His scientific technical research papers and articles related to vehicle pollution and combustion have been published in national and international journals. He is the member of Nepal Engineer's Association, Tribhuvan University Teacher's Association, Nepal, Society of Mechanical Engineering, Nepal, & Nepal Engineer’s Council.

Dr. Sanath Boralugoda is from Colombo, Sri Lanka; Dr. Boralugoda is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at University Sri Jayewardenepura. He received his B. Sc in Mathematics from University Sri Jayewardenepura and both his M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Mathematics from University of Alberta. His expertise is in the area of Variational Analysis – analyzing problems in applied mathematics using the characterizations that certain attributes of the underlying problem, such energy, potential and entropy will be either maximized or minimized at the critical states. He makes Mathematics a pragmatic science with his involvement in Industrial Mathematics Programs, and Industrial Internship for superior undergraduate students of Mathematics. Sanath is traveling with his wife and two daughters.    

Usmanova, Zulaikho M.

Dr. Zulaikho Usmanova is one of the leading scholars and teachers in Tajikistan, with prominent international stature for her work. She completed her undergraduate education at Saint-Petersburg State University, Moscow, Russia, and had her PhD from Tajik Academy of Sciences. Zulaikho has accomplished scholarly inquiries on Mythology and Cultural Studies, and has now turned her academic interest to Anthropology and Gender issues. She directs the newly organized Office for International Affairs at Khujand State University. She has set, as objectives, strengthening international collaboration and partnership of her university. Zulaikho has mother tongue command of several languages, including Tajik, Persian, Russian, Uzbek and English language. A scholar not to be outdone in multi-tasking which, some accept, is natural to women, she is a wife and mother of two boys still actively preoccupied with growing, at 12.5 and 2.5.
