Center's founder honored
at April 21 memorial service

More than 150 guests attended the April 21 memorial service for Dr. Michitoshi Soga, the guiding light of WMU's Japanese studies program, who passed away in early March 2013. Presenters included the Honorable Kuninori Matsuda from the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit, Mr. Eiji Oshima, chair of the WMU Japan alumni group--Kalamazoo Kai, and WMU President John M. Dunn.
