Light Center Research Grants for Faculty The Timothy Light Center for Chinese Studies provides support to Western Michigan University faculty for research and creative activities that support the study of Greater China. Light Center 2012 research grant awarded to Dr. Yuan-Kang Wang The deadline for submitting proposals, valued at up to $3,000 each, is February 1, 2013. One or two proposals will be funded each academic year; recipients will be announced February 28. All board-appointed, full-time faculty are eligible to apply. Awards will be announced by February 28. Funded projects must be completed during the period from May 1 to April 30 of the following year.Read more |
