International Alumni

Beginning with the 1911 graduation of Winnipeg-native Ella Francis Aikman, Western Michigan University’s first international student, nearly 10,000 international students representing 110 countries have studied at WMU.

This International Alumni web page is devoted to maintaining a campus connection via the Internet with the thousands of international students who have lived and studied on WMU’s campus.

As this page develops, we hope to provide contacts for networking and recruiting purposes, a calendar of alumni gatherings planned in countries worldwide, news of our alumni accomplishments, links to related sources, and a photo gallery highlighting international alumni activities.
