 Faculty International ResearcherDr. Dewei Qi Assistant Professor Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Imaging Dr. Dewei Qi joined the WMU Department of Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Imaging as an Assistant Professor in fall 1995 and has extensive scientific research experience. He served as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. He has eight years of mill experience and more than twenty years of university teaching experience. Dr. Qi has authored or co-authored more than thirty peer-reviewed journal publications.
Dr. Qi is the host of WMU’s Engineering Tour in China summer study abroad program, a twenty-five day trip to Beijing, Xian and Chengdu, designed to provide a unique opportunity for students to gain global engineering experience in contemporary China.
