Gilman International Scholarship Program

This is a federal scholarship available for students with financial need planning to study abroad for a semester or academic year. Awards are up to $5,000. Applications must be endorsed by the Office of Study Abroad. For more information, link to the Gilman website.

Successful applications to national scholarship competitions require significant advising support. Please schedule an appointment with Mr. Berquist in October. At least two appointments are needed for your application. Should Mr. Berquist be unavailable, Dr. Donald McCloud, Dean, Haenicke Institute for Global Education, may assist you.

Deadline for fall study is April 15, 2009 and for spring study is October 7, 2008. Summer programs are not eligible.
