The Haenicke Institute for Global Education is pleased to announce that the JENNIFER C. WENGER MEMORIAL STUDY/WORK ABROAD FUND will be available to assist students enrolled in a study or work abroad program in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). The criteria that will be considered in selecting a student for the award are: * Must be a full-time student, preferably female, enrolled in a study or work abroad program in the United Kingdom. * The recipient must be employed part-time as evidence of their commitment to assisting with the costs of higher education * Preference will be given to students in the following areas of academic study in the following order of priority: * Anthropology major or Sociology major, with a focus on woman's studies. * Woman's Studies major or minor with any academic discipline. * Any academic major. * Must be in good academic standing: * Minimum of 2.5 GPA. * Completed at least 20 credit hours at WMU * Students participating in the BUNAC work abroad program are also eligible. * Recipients will be selected by the Office of Study Abroad. Awards will be based on a completed applications form, GPA and financial need. An interview may be required. To obtain further information on Jennifer C.
