Short-term faculty exchange opportunity at University of Passau
Short-term faculty exchange opportunity Western Michigan University and the University of Passau invite applications for a short-term faculty exchange in summer 2010. The visiting professor will spend a month at one of the newest of the German universities, which is located on the banks of the river Inn and within walking distance of the beautiful baroque town center. The visit affords ample opportunity for research and professors are usually invited to give one or two lectures on their field of expertise.

WMU is entering its third decade of educational partnership with the University of Passau, which has provided many opportunities for cross-cultural interchange. The visiting professorship is open to WMU faculty from any discipline and will take place during a one-month period in May or June 2010. The University of Passau will serve as host and will provide housing in the city of Passau. German language skills are not required.
