Japan scene captures “Best Overall” in study abroad photo contestCongratulations to the three students who won the Haenicke Institute for Global Education’s 2009 Study Abroad Photo Contest.
Wei-Jun Young, who studied at Ritsumeikan University in Japan, was awarded “Best Overall” for his image, “Artistic Nature in Kiyomizu Temple Kyoto”. Lauren Dixon, who studied in Burgos, Spain, won the People category for her picture, “Bonita Bonita” which depicts a gentleman serenading people on the streets of the city of Seville with his guitar. Margaret Hannahan’s photo, “Christmas in London”, was won in the Place category, which was taken while studying at American Intercontinental University in London.
