2009/2010 WMU Study Abroad Photo ContestStudy Abroad participants who study overseas in summer II or fall 2009 or spring or summer I of 2010 are eligible to enter two photos from their study abroad experience.
The deadline to enter is July 15, 2010. The grand prize winner for best overall photo will receive an iPod Touch; each category winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to Best Buy.
There are two categories for the contest: Places and People
Places: Artful and interesting shots of buildings, monuments, landscape, architecture, nature, etc., in your study abroad destination.
People: Photos of native people, students, local friends, cultural displays, etc. in your study abroad destination. - For each photo you submit, please include a title, the location, year, and a caption, no longer than one sentence.
- The winning photos will be displayed at the Study Abroad Fair in October 2010
To enter the contest send an e-mail with SA PHOTO CONTEST in the subject line that includes your phone number, the photo/s as attachments, a title for each photo, location, year/semester, and a one-sentence caption to Haenicke Institute Study Abroad:
