ACE Internationalization Laboratory Updates Project Overview Western Michigan University is participating in the American Council on Education's Internationalization Laboratory, a two-year program of assessment and planning aimed at strengthening the international education components of our undergraduate curriculum. Over the course of the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 academic years, an array of activities guided by the ACE Laboratory format will be undertaken at WMU. Click here to read the press release. The team met with President John Dunn, Provost Timothy Greene, Dr. Eileen Evans, Vice Provost for Institutional Effectiveness, Dr. Dave Reinhold, Associate Provost for Assessment and Undergraduate Studies, the Haenicke Institute senior management team and staff, the International Education Committee (IEC), and the WMU ACE Lab leadership team. Peer reviewers submitted a draft report to the IEC and the Haenicke Institute for comment prior to delivering their final report to the president, provost, IEC, and Haenicke Institute in July, 2010. |
