ACE Internationalization Laboratory Updates

Project Overview

Western Michigan University is participating in the American Council on Education's Internationalization Laboratory, a two-year program of assessment and planning aimed at strengthening the international education components of our undergraduate curriculum.

Over the course of the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 academic years, an array of activities guided by the ACE Laboratory format will be undertaken at WMU. Click here to read the press release.

Leadership:  The dean of the Haenicke Institute and the chair of the International Education Council co-chair this project.  

2008-2009 leadership group:  Dr. Donald McCloud, Dr. Steve Malcolm, Mr. Bill Woods, Mr. Brett Berquist

2009-2010 leadership group: Dr. Donald McCloud, Professor Maira Bundza (new chair of IEC), Dr. Mary Lagerwey, Mr. Bill Woods (Berquist left WMU in summer 2009).
