General Summary:
Oversees international student enrollment and retention activities and services.       

Major Duties:
• Directs international student recruitment and admissions; formulates policies and effects changes in priorities to best serve University strengths and strategic planning.
• Oversees international student retention services and student activities. Develops strategies for integrating international students. Identifies ways to improve, enhance, and promote international student experiences at WMU.
• Plans and integrates CELCIS faculty skills into the needs of the Haenicke Institute while maintaining and expanding CELCIS language services.
• Directs international student activities and enrollment staff. Provides unit oversight and direction.
• Directs orientation and training for on-campus faculty and staff (e.g. cultural issues seminars) with international student focus.
