General Summary Establishes direction and oversees all aspects of international student activities and programs. Major Duties - Establishes direction and oversees all aspects of international student activities and programs including development, implementation and monitoring.
- Supervises students and graduate student workers.
- Directs the administration of international student orientation programs.
- Designs and implements cross-cultural, leadership, and team building training for orientation leaders and staff.
- Develops and oversees programming budget. Reviews and authorizes financial allocation for all International Registered Student Organizations.
- Performs other outreach duties as assigned, including occasional international travel.
Minimum Qualifications - Master’s degree in counseling or relevant field.
- Experience working with international student groups and issues.
- Familiarity with student activities procedures.
- Ability to travel outside of the United States.
Desired Qualifications - Foreign language skills.
- Familiarity with theories and practices of cross-cultural programming.
