Overnight camping trip August 1-2

Pretty Lake Camp Swimming, hiking, outdoor games, and singing around the campfire while snacking on S'mores will be enjoyed by participants of an overnight camping trip at Kalamazoo's Pretty Lake Campground August 1-2.

The international programming activities office is hosting the trip that is open to the first 30 students to sign up at the International Admissions and Services reception desk on the fourth floor of Ellsworth Hall. Cost is $25, which includes sleeping quarters, transportation to camp and back to campus, two meals cooked over an open campfire and fun and games. The trip is open to all WMU international students, including those enrolled in the CELCIS program. The sign-up deadline is Monday, July 28.

The group will meet for departure at the Bernhard Center at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 1 and will depart from the camp about 10 a.m. Saturday to return to campus. There will be separate sleeping areas for males and females and sleeping pads provided. Participants should bring a sheet and pillow.
