See and taste the world in a single evening — the 19th Annual International Festival at Western Michigan University will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bernhard Center East Ballroom.

International Festival promises to be a great opportunity for campus and community members to come together and learn about the diversity of cultures existing in Kalamazoo.

During the Festival, WMU students from around the world will represent their home countries with traditional food, dress, and performances. It also features authentic ethnic food samples, performances and displays of cultural artifacts from 15 international student organizations worldwide. Admission is free and food will be sold for a nominal fee.

Please join us in sharing this information with your community and encouraging their attendance. Your assistance will help insure a successful weekend and will be greatly appreciated by the students who have worked very hard to organize the Festival.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The International Festival is organized by International Programs Council and the Campus Activities Board, with funds from Campus Activities Board, Graduate Student Advisory Committee, International Programs Council, Haenicke Institute for Global Education, Student Activities & Leadership Programs, and the University Cultural Events Committee.
