Wanted: Conversation partners

CELCIS is seeking English-speaking students to participate in our Conversation Partners program. The program is designed to help CELCIS international students better understand the American college experience, as well as make connections with WMU students.

It consists of weekly, one-hour meetings to chat in English and perhaps answer questions about campus life and culture. Questions usually include points from homework assignments the students may not understand, English phrases with which they are unfamiliar, or general questions concerning American culture. Partners can meet whenever they wish, but must attend one English conversation table per month with their partner  (usually held in Bronco Mall on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month between 3-4 p.m.).
 
This is a great opportunity for any WMU student who thinks he/she might be working with people from different cultural backgrounds in the future, or simply wants to make new friends.
