The Haenicke Institute for Global Education works with the International Education Council of the WMU Faculty Senate towards the internationalization of the WMU learning experience. On April 6, 2006, the International Education Council presented a Framework for Internationalization (PDF) to the WMU Faculty Senate. On January 10 of 2008, Dr. Donald G. The Institute and the IEC work with the Internationalization Collaborative of the American Council on Education (ACE) and the National Association of Land Grant Universities and Colleges (NASULGC).
