China scholar to speak at opening of WMU's
Timothy Light center

Western Michigan University will celebrate the formal opening of its Timothy Light Center for Chinese Studies Monday, Oct. 11, with an on-campus lecture by a renowned China scholar, Dr. Stephen R. MacKinnon, professor of history at Arizona State University, followed by a reception. Both events are free and open to the public.
