A comparison between Chinese and American second language education systems is the focus of a talk by Lei Pan, a lecturer from the School of Foreign Languages in Central China Normal University planned for 5 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in Brown Hall Room 3025. Pan's talk, “Second Language Education and Applications in America and China,” will provide an overview of how the teaching of second languages is handled in China as compared to the United States. She will also address the reasons people choose to learn a second language and how it can benefit their lives professionally and personally. |
